While murals and street art installations make The Milk District a feast for the eyes, this Orlando Main Street is also a feast in the more traditional sense thanks to acclaimed dining and nightlife, annual events, and Orlando’s largest LGBTQ+ nightclub, among other reasons to visit.

The Milk District is a “culture of subcultures” is anchored by — and gets its name from — a T.G. Lee dairy. Brimming with a performing arts center, street art, shops, restaurants and bars, it is an inclusive, quirky district where everyone is welcome.
The Milk District is home to five MICHELIN-rated restaurants, starting with Bib Gourmand Otto’s High Dive, which also earned a MICHELIN Exceptional Cocktails Award in 2024. MICHELIN Recommended eateries include Maxine’s on Shine, Se7en Bites, JUJU, and James Beard Award finalist Chef Henry Moso’s original Kabooki Sushi. Other local favorites in this area include Bad As’s Sandwich, Smoke & Donuts, Stasio’s Italian Deli & Market, and Beefy King, to name a few. Vegans and vegetarians will also want to look into the many “Almond Milk District” offerings at local restaurants.
Not sure what you’re in the mood for? Roll into À La Cart, a social dining experience with multiple mobile food vendors, an indoor bar with 15 rotating taps, and indoor and outdoor seating. Variety is also king at the nearby Milkhouse, a comfortable, creative space with some of Central Florida’s most noted food and beverage brands.
The Milk District is home to The Plaza Live, a historic theater that hosts the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and a wide range of live concerts and other entertainment. The district also has numerous nightlife hotspots, lounges and even a brewery. Top choices include Barley & Vine Biergarten, Bull & Bush, District Dive, Sideward Brewing, Southern Craft, Southern Nights (the largest LGBTQ+ nightclub in Orlando), Sportstown, and Whiskey Lou’s.
With dozens of murals and street art installations, The Milk District is a feast for the eyes. In fact, it is second only to the nearby Mills 50 district when it comes to public art in Orlando.

The Milk District is about 5 minutes east of downtown Orlando.
Florida’s east coast beaches are an hour or less from The Milk District. West coast beaches are approximately two hours away.
